Marsha Reeves Jews has over 20 years of executive level work experience; while simultaneously building her consultancy practice, The Bissell Street Group that specializes in business and relationship development, event planning and marketing.

Ms. Jews has formerly held C-Level positions as President/COO/Associated Publisher for Career Communications Group; Executive Director of Alvin Ailey Dance Theater Foundation of Maryland; and Vice President of Operations for the Modern Day Marine Force in Readiness Military Exposition, the Capital Marines/Marine Corps League.

Ms. Jews’ accomplishments include; co-founder of the Women of Color Technology Awards Conference,  Black Family Technology Awareness Week and LaFamilia Technology Awareness Week; and former radio talk show host, the Marsha Jews Show on WHCR 90.3 in New York.

Marsha has won numerous awards including the Mercedes Benz’s Visionary Award; a member of the inaugural edition of Who’s Who in Black Baltimore, Community Leader; and a Co-Author in the book, Incredible Business;

Currently on the Board of the Stone Soup Leadership Institute; former Mayoral Appointee of Mayor Kurt L. Schmoke as a Commissioner for Tourism, Entertainment and Culture; Former Gubernatorial Appointee of Governor Parris Glendening as commissioner for the Maryland Public Television Commission; Trustee for the College of Notre Dame and Maryland Institute College of Art; Trustee of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra; founding board member of the Maryland Association of Nonprofit Organizations; Trustee of Enoch Pratt Library and State Resource Library; Port Discovery Children’s Museum; Maryland YMCA Central Maryland; Executive Council and Member of Women’s Leadership Forum/DNC; American Cancer Society State Board; Baltimore Educational Scholarship Trust; LIFESONGS for AIDS; FANS Board of the Baltimore School for the Arts and the Maryland Citizens for the Arts Advocacy Committee which was intricately involved in passing the arts and education program in Maryland Schools under Governor William Donald Schaefer.

An avid volunteer in the Baltimore community; past president for Network 2000; Charter member and past vice president of the Baltimore Metropolitan Chapter of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women and co-chair of Washington Metropolitan Chapter of Digital Sistahs; 1999 Co-Chair of the Annual Baltimore Symphony Orchestra’s Gala; Chaired the 1997 and 1998 BESTFest Gala Fundraiser for the Baltimore Educational Scholarship Trust; co-chaired numerous political events including the Democratic National Committees, Women’s Leadership Forum’s Fund Raiser honoring First Lady, Hillary Clinton; fundraiser for United States Senator Barbara Mikulski,  former Lt. General Kathleen Kennedy Townsend and former Speaker of the House Cas Taylor.

A noted public speaker, Ms. Jews’ has spoken to audiences as key-note speaker, moderator and/or panelist and presenter for local, regional, national and international organizations. A sampling listed: a discussion participant on the working paper for The Morino Institute’s – From Access to Outcomes: Raising Aspirations for Technology Initiatives in Low Income Communities; and a participant of the à la Société Africaine des Sciences et des Nouvelles Technologies (SASNET) conference in Brazzaville, Congo and speaker at the Martha’s Vineyard Youth Leadership Initiative’s Walter Cronkite Memorial Celebration.
